Last year the Land Cruiser celebrated its over 6 decades of excellence with the Heritage Edition. The 2021 Land Cruiser brings the Heritage Edition back for another climb, this time with more seating and color options. The Land Cruiser has a long, established history of taking wanderers to all edges of the earth. Now in 2021, this can be none with more style than ever.
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. The Land Cruiser has been a benchmark for no-compromise capability for as long as this saying has been popular, and it’s an easy adage for the 2021 Land Cruiser to embrace. Returning features of the 2021 Land Cruiser include:
- 381-horsepower 5.7-liter DOHC V8 engine, producing 401 lb.-ft of torque
- 8-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission
- Versatile full-time 4WD system
- Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System
- Standard Trailer Towing Package (up to 8,1000 pounds)
In 2021, the 200 Series Land Cruiser Heritage Edition makes a return. In addition to the two-row seat that was exclusive last year, the new Heritage Edition will offer a third-row seating option (same as the base model configuration). Two new exterior colors are also available this year, with Classic Silver Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic joining the existing options of Midnight Black Metallic and Blizzard Pearl. The remaining premium features of the 2020 Heritage Edition are carried over to this years model, and are highlighted by:
- Bronze-colored BBS 18 x 8.0-inch forged aluminum wheels with classic “TOYOTA” center cap
- Black-accented grille and vintage-style Land Cruiser exterior badge
- Yakima Megawarrior roof rack
- Black leather-trimmed upholstery, with bronze contrast stitching
- All-weather floor mats and cargo liner
The 2021 Land Cruiser works hard to keep you safe so you can fully enjoy all of the luxurious capability it has to offer. Toyota Safety Sense P (TSS-P) remains standard, providing peace of mind through its advanced technology. A millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera sensor allow the Pre-Collision System to help detect a preceding pedestrian or vehicle. If necessary, it is designed to automatically apply braking if necessary to help avoid collisions in certain conditions. Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beams round out the TSS-P suite. Other standard safety features include:
