After years of rumors, wishing and waiting the Supra is finally back. The 2020 GR Supra will be no mere sports car. It will be Toyota's purest expression of performance. It is designed to allow the driver, car and the road to become one. Balanced in every way, even more beautiful to look at, the GR Supra will define the next generation of performance.
One glance at the 2020 Supra and there is no doubt its a stunning work of art. But the real beauty enlies in the science behind the design. The wide front grille is designed to channel cool air directly into the turbocharged engine to help optimize performance. To reduce drag, the "double'bubble" roof adds space while also providing more interior space. To keep the Supra planted when running at speed the flared rear spoiler helps to reduce body lift.
Under the hood of the 2020 Supra sits a 3.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged inline six engine which produces 335 horsepower and will take you from 0 to 60 in just 4.1 seconds. Toyota moved the engine back and as low as possible to optimize the center of gravity for a 50:50 front/rear weight distribution. To ensure the Supra drives as good as it looks it will come equipped with a rigid chassis, adaptive suspension and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Adding to the driving experience and control are the active differential and Brembo front brakes.
For 2020 the Supra will come in three models: Launch Edition, 3.0 Premium and 3.0. The extremely limited production of 1,500 Launch Edition Supra's hit the ground they will come in three colors: Absolute Zero White, Nocturnal Black and Renaissance Red 2.0. In the fall of 2019 when the 3.0 Premium and 3.0 models are released they will be available these additional color choices: Phantom Matte Gray, Tungsten Silver, Turbulence Gray, Nitro Yellow and Downshift Blue. The starting MSRP for the 3.0 will be $49,990 and $53,990 for the 3.0 Premium.
